How do I register for the Interac Email Money Transfer service?
It's easy. Register online using TD Canada Trust EasyWeb. Click My Accounts >Payments and Transfers in the top menu bar and then select Interac Email Money Transfer in the left sub-menu bar. Read the information displayed and click the 'Register Now!' button.
To register, follow these three steps:
Step 1 of 3: | We need two pieces of information to complete your registration - your name and email address. Confirm the name displayed on the 'Register' screen and if necessary make changes. Next, enter your email address. | Step 2 of 3: | Since your name and email address will be used in all email notifications sent to your recipients (persons receiving money), it is very important this information is correct. Review and confirm the information you have entered. |
Step 3 of 3: | Your registration is complete, and you are ready to use the Interac Email Money Transfer service! To start, add each new recipient to your personal Recipient List. Select Maintain Recipient List in the left sub-menu bar and then click the 'Add Recipient' button. |
How will my personal information by used?
When you send an Interac Email Money Transfer, the recipient (person receiving the money) will receive an email notifying him/her of the incoming transfer. This email notification will indicate your name as the sender of the money.
In addition to the initial email regarding the Interac Email Money Transfer, subsequent email notifications could be required between you (the sender), the recipient, and TD Canada Trust. These notifications will be sent to your email address for action, if required.
