Why add an Additional Cardholder?

It’s easy to add a spouse, child, other family member, or a non-related caregiver to your credit card account as an Additional Cardholder1. Plus for eligible cards, you'll share eligible Card benefits and earn TD points, Aeroplan points or Cash Back faster together upon eligible purchases made on all cards on the account, including any recurring payments your Additional Cardholders set up.

How to add an Additional Cardholder:

  • EasyWeb

    1. Login to EasyWeb.
    2. Complete the Add an Additional Cardholder form.
    3. Your Additional Cardholder Card will be delivered to you in approximately 10 business days following the receipt of your request.
  • Mobile App

    1. Log into the TD app.
    2. From the slide out menu, select My Accounts.
    3. Select your credit card (your credit card details will be displayed).
    4. Select the manage button.
    5. Select Additional Cardholders (more information about this feature will appear).
    6. Select the continue button (a new browser window will open showing the form).
    7. Complete the form

Frequently asked questions

If your account is open and in good standing, you can add up to 3 Additional Cardholders.


No. Since the credit card account is owned by the Primary Cardholder, the balance of the credit card will only affect the Primary Cardholder's credit rating.


No. Only the Primary Cardholder can make changes to the credit card limit.


The Primary Cardholder remains liable for all charges to the Account, including those made by any Additional Cardholders. However, an Additional Cardholder can always make payments to the credit card account.


The Primary Cardholder manages the limits through the TD app, but only with in-person and online purchases. Transaction limits do not apply to pre-authorized payments, ATM transactions with a Canadian dollar TD Credit Card, and balance transfers.
