Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reduction in points I choose this card as we have been a TD customer for over 35 years. The new point system for travel points is very disappointing. I have found cheaper flights going straight to the airline site we book with and we fly at least twice a year. I do not like as it is more expensive and if one does the math it is not cheap and the bank wins. I will be looking elsewhere for a new card and will change my bank accounts as well. Sorry TD but you need to acknowledge that there is a major problem here and at least respond accordingly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Use to be Good - Not So Much Anymore As many other reviewers have stated this use to be a GREAT card and I left RBC to come to TD for it. I like the option of using my points towards any travel I want and booking on any platform. But since they joined with Expedia and recently changed the way you can earn and redeem your points with very little consideration to what its public wants. It is now at best average as far as rewards cards go and I leaving for a better provider. Customers service is generally very good (except the last time when I went to redeem points and the Manager of Customer Service said "Points change and you have to accept this. I get 15 calls a day about the points change. Don't you people read?".) I kid you not! I pointed out to him if he is getting 15 calls a day maybe they should look at going back to way this had been previously and his retort was "That's just stupid!". Too bad because I was their #1 salesman with friends, colleagues and family, now I tell them to go elsewhere. It's a real shame!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rewards values discretely reduced?? I recently tried to use the $950 rewards dollars that appears on my account, only to find out, since Nov. 2015 those points are only valid on TD Expedia. I only have $783 to use anyway else?? Unfortunately, TD Expedia is not competitive in their pricing...really not competitive! I will be figuring a way to use my points and look for another rewards card. As stated by others there's enough competitors out there that offer more for less. Thanks for the memories TD Infinite VISA. Disappointed .. PS The waiting time to actually speak to CSR's about using your points has been about 10-15 minutes the last few attempts...just sayin'

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to redeem for value accrued I have used this card for years but now find it cheaper to book travel through sites other than Expedia for Td. That means I have to redeem my points at the discounted rate making me feel I have lost the benefit of what I have accumulated. Some of the current cash back cards seem to offer way more value and no chance of future discounting your accumulated value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE!!!! I've used this card for a number of years because I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to use the points for hotel, car rental and flights, without having to use a specific carrier. I redeemed points a few times and was able to book travel using the Expedia for TD platform. Then... I booked a multiple stop trip using my TD Points. Unfortunately, there was a death in the family and I had to change one flight of the trip. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours... During that time I was put on hold a number of time to talk to the "help desk" and then to contact the airline to figure out their policies. It seemed as though the person was not able to do anything on their own. After the options were figured out, I was told that the change fee would be $200 PLUS over $1,000 to change the flight. I guess the additional flight charge is just the nature of flying, but the process to get to that point was ridiculous. The ability to collect points and use on a variety of travel providers was nice, but if you ever need to make a change, it is a terrible process and costly!!!! I would recommend an Aeroplan Visa over this product. I will be switching.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good card This used to be a pretty good card, and in some respects had a little prestige because not everyone had it. Now seems like it is a common card in the market. The rewards it offered were great, but now those rewards are common place putting this card at the same level as other cards taking away the attraction. Other competitor cards seem to offer more benefits for similar fee. After so many years being with this card, I think it is time to move on.
