Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reduction in points I choose this card as we have been a TD customer for over 35 years. The new point system for travel points is very disappointing. I have found cheaper flights going straight to the airline site we book with and we fly at least twice a year. I do not like Expediatd.com as it is more expensive and if one does the math it is not cheap and the bank wins. I will be looking elsewhere for a new card and will change my bank accounts as well. Sorry TD but you need to acknowledge that there is a major problem here and at least respond accordingly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very dissapointing The card used to be decent but now they have devalued the points by 20%. No longer competitive with other top tier cards. Seems greed has gotten the better of the folks at td.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Used to be a great card...now, not so much! I've held this card since it was first introduced. It was a premier card at the time of introduction. Now, everyone seems to have caught up to, and surpassed, it. The flexibility is great for redeeming, but that's about it. To get the 1.5% reward rate, you have to book through Expedia...otherwise it is closer to 1.2%. Capital One is 2% flat no matter what. Come on TD...I want to remain a loyal customer, but there are far better offerings out there right now than the FCT Visa. Time to re-visit this product and give it a much needed makeover. Seems like you're more interested in pushing people to your Aeroplan Infinite now, than looking after your loyal customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible customer service I chose this card because of the flexibility and features. The problem is, you can't access your points to pay for travel without enormous frustration and delay. The worst people to deal with are on the Expedia for TD site, where the customer service representatives will outright lie to you to try to stop you from redeeming points. Even when you get through the complex voicemail maze and find someone who seems willing to do what the card promises--pay for travel with points--you will find out months later that the redemption of points never went through. There must be some kind of bonus paid to employees who prevent you from redeeming points because the creativity in the bullcrap that the customer service agents and supervisors will tell you is breathtaking. Expedia for TD continually tries to get you to call your bank, the bank refuses to take responsibility and sends you back to Expedia for TD. I am a very determined peson and a lawyer, so after expending hours of effort over several months, I can eventually get points redeemed, but the frustration hardly seems worth it. I am sure many less assertive people than me just give up in frustration. So if you are a very determined person with a high tolerance for frustration and a lot of time on your hands, this is the card for you. All others should look elsewhere.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from won't use it anymore it is a good card before because of its insurance and 1.5% point. but now they changed point system you have to buy ticket from exp TD to get 1.5%rate and which the price is ALWAYS higher than other website. so i exchanged all points and switch to other bank. bmo scotia or cibc they all have much better cash back card. Also the td telephone banking is not as good as before. the attitude is rude. i asked the question about credit card insurance a lady answered me: call insurance dept, if i know everything, why TD hires so many employee...?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Use to be Good - Not So Much Anymore As many other reviewers have stated this use to be a GREAT card and I left RBC to come to TD for it. I like the option of using my points towards any travel I want and booking on any platform. But since they joined with Expedia and recently changed the way you can earn and redeem your points with very little consideration to what its public wants. It is now at best average as far as rewards cards go and I leaving for a better provider. Customers service is generally very good (except the last time when I went to redeem points and the Manager of Customer Service said "Points change and you have to accept this. I get 15 calls a day about the points change. Don't you people read?".) I kid you not! I pointed out to him if he is getting 15 calls a day maybe they should look at going back to way this had been previously and his retort was "That's just stupid!". Too bad because I was their #1 salesman with friends, colleagues and family, now I tell them to go elsewhere. It's a real shame!
