Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE!!!! I've used this card for a number of years because I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to use the points for hotel, car rental and flights, without having to use a specific carrier. I redeemed points a few times and was able to book travel using the Expedia for TD platform. Then... I booked a multiple stop trip using my TD Points. Unfortunately, there was a death in the family and I had to change one flight of the trip. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours... During that time I was put on hold a number of time to talk to the "help desk" and then to contact the airline to figure out their policies. It seemed as though the person was not able to do anything on their own. After the options were figured out, I was told that the change fee would be $200 PLUS over $1,000 to change the flight. I guess the additional flight charge is just the nature of flying, but the process to get to that point was ridiculous. The ability to collect points and use on a variety of travel providers was nice, but if you ever need to make a change, it is a terrible process and costly!!!! I would recommend an Aeroplan Visa over this product. I will be switching.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good card This used to be a pretty good card, and in some respects had a little prestige because not everyone had it. Now seems like it is a common card in the market. The rewards it offered were great, but now those rewards are common place putting this card at the same level as other cards taking away the attraction. Other competitor cards seem to offer more benefits for similar fee. After so many years being with this card, I think it is time to move on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No credit until after you check out! Points rewards is a good thing but you need to know that credit for points redeemed against accommodation won't show up on your credit card statement until after you check out. Makes sense I guess but it took several phone calls over a period of two days to get a definitive answer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expedia TD First time trying to use the service through Expedia our flight was cancelled by the airline and the airline moved us to a much earlier flight, which was not possible on our part. It was at no expense to cancel, however, it took 2 phone calls and over one hour on the phone. The refund will be returned back to my card in SIX TO EIGHT weeks! Really! Will not go through the hassle again and just book directly with the airline.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from declining rewards I found out that to get the max rewards with the new points rules that you have to redeem at point of booking, I checked the expedia for td travel website and compared it to expedia.ca and the price on expedia for td was $400 more expensive.so cut the points and charge you more. that's wrong. definitely looking right now for a competitors card with better benefits

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this card! The reason why I love this card is being of the flexibility of choosing ANY airline or company to redeem my points with. I am not restricted to a certain airline and save money on my travels! I recommended this card to many friends (who have signed up) and continue to rave positive reviews with this card.
