Pending payments can be cancelled up until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on the business day before the payment will be processed. After 11:59 p.m. ET, you will not be able to cancel this payment. You will need to contact EasyLine at 1-866-222-3456 and a banking specialist will be happy to help you.
To cancel a pending payment, follow these steps:
- Select My Accounts > Payments & Transfers from the top navigation menu.
- Click View/Cancel Pending Payments from the left sub-menu. A list of all your pending payments will be displayed.
- Click the Cancel button next to the payment you would like to cancel.
- On the next screen displayed, you will be asked to review and approve your request to cancel the payment before it is processed by TD Canada Trust. If you still wish to cancel the payment, click the Finish button. A new confirmation number will be provided for your request.
To retrieve historical payment information, follow these steps:
- Select My Accounts > Payments & Transfers from the top navigation menu.
- Click View Previous Payments from the left sub-menu. A list of all your Payees will be displayed.
- Click the Select button next to the Payee you wish to view. You will be presented with all the payments that you have made over the last six (6) months as well as any postdated/recurring payments that have not yet been processed.
- To view historical payment information for another payee, click the Back button at the bottom of the page and you will be presented with your Payee List to select again.
- Repeat step 3.
The following details are provided for each Payment Enquiry:
- The Payee name and account number.
- Payment Date The date the payment was processed.
- Amount The dollar and cents amount paid to the payee.
- From Account Your TD Canada Trust account from which the funds were withdrawn.
- Confirmation Number The reference code that verifies the payment was processed.
- Status Tells you whether the payment was Paid, Pending, Cancelled or Rejected (NSF).
