Since 1987, the market research firm Synovate has conducted
an annual independent survey among customers of major
Canadian financial institutions. For the year 2006,
approximately 10,000 Canadians rated financial institutions on nearly
100 specific attributes of customer service, such as cost,
convenience, the staff, products offered, ATMs, telephone
banking and online services.
