Before you begin the application, please note...

1. To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a Canadian resident.
  • Be of the age of majority in your province of residence.

2. Information that you will need:
  • Two pieces of identification
  • Residential information and expenses (if less than 2 years at current address, previous address information will be required)
  • Employer’s information (i.e. name, address, phone number, etc.)
  • Gross Annual Income
  • Social Insurance Number (optional)

Note: You will receive a written confirmation of your approval or decline in the mail within 5-7 business days of the original receipt of the request.  If approved, your card will be ready for pick-up within approximately 8-10 business days at the TD Canada Trust branch of your choice.
