  2. If you find yourself out of work, through no fault of your own, the Balance Protection Insurance Involuntary Unemployment insurance benefit1 can pay a monthly benefit amount towards your TD Visa outstanding balance as at the incurred date of your claim.

  1. What if I become disabled?
  2. If you become disabled because of accident or illness and you are unable to work, the Balance Protection Insurance Total Disability benefit1 can pay a monthly benefit amount towards your TD Visa outstanding balance as at the incurred date of your claim.

  1. What if I am diagnosed with a critical illness, die or experience dismemberment?
  2. If you were to be diagnosed with a covered Critical Illness1, the outstanding balance on your TD Visa Card at the time of diagnosis can be paid in full, up to $10,000. If you were to die1, the outstanding balance on your TD Visa card at the time of death can be paid in full, up to a maximum of $10,000. Balance Protection Insurance will provide your loved ones with the security of knowing that they will have one less financial obligation. If you were to experience Dismemberment1, the outstanding balance on your TD Visa Card at the time of the loss can also be paid, up to a maximum of $10,000. Coverage converts to Accidental Death Benefit at age 66.

  2. The cost of Balance Protection Insurance is only $0.89 per $100 of your average daily TD Visa Card balance.2

  1. Who is eligible to enroll?
  2. You may enroll for Balance Protection Insurance if you are the Primary Cardholder of a TD Visa Card on which Balance Protection Insurance is offered, you are a Canadian resident, and you are between the ages of 18 to 65 years.

  1. Your satisfaction...
  2. Iff you are not completely satisfied with your protection, simply provide your cancellation instructions, by telephone or in writing, within 30 days to TD Life Insurance Company3 for a full refund. If you decide to cancel at any time after that, any unearned premium will be refunded. You may cancel your coverage at any time.
