TD is no stranger to Junior Achievement. We have supported local chapters of JA across Canada for many years both financially and with employee volunteers. Our sponsorship of Project Business is a national, corporate commitment that will enhance and build on our existing regional support to local JA chapters.

Project Business is a classroom program that gives middle grade students their first real taste of what business fundamentals are about. Project Business enriches Social Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Guidance and Business curricula in the middle grades. A volunteer from the local business community works with a classroom teacher to introduce students to the inter-relationships of business, government and consumers. Students are able to foster positive attitudes about teamwork and the enterprise system, while developing skills they can later use in their personal and business lives.

Through our partnership with Junior Achievement on Project Business we hope to expose Canadian students to some of the skills and knowledge that will lead to success in the workforce in the future.
