TD Asset Management Inc. Purchases
Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates Inc.

TORONTO - TD Asset Management, Inc. (TDAM) and Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates have announced the purchase of Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates by TD Bank. Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates is a leading provider of fixed income investment management services for pension funds, mutual funds, endowments, foundations and individuals in Canada. With approximately $1.7 billion in assets under management, Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates owns leading edge quantitative technology used to construct optimal portfolios. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TD Asset Management, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of TD Bank, manages passive, quantitative, enhanced and active institutional portfolios for pension funds, corporations, institutions, endowments and foundations. In addition, it offers private money management to high net worth individuals and manages mutual funds for retail investors. It has over $52 billion in assets under management.

"This acquisition and the technology Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates brings will help us maintain and enhance TD's position as a leader in the marketplace," said Barbara Palk, Vice Chair, TDAM. "Together, we will build the pre-eminent provider of quantitative asset management services in Canada."

"The opportunity to lever our quantitative approach and technology with TD's extensive resources will generate superior investment solutions for our clients."

Under the terms of the agreement, Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates will be integrated into TD Asset Management's Quantitative Capital division. TDQC is a leading provider of Canadian index, quantitative and enhanced investment products for the institutional, high net worth and retail market. TD Asset Management will maintain the current London, Ontario office of Greydanus, Boeckh & Associates. The office will be operated under the name TD Asset Management.
