What are the chances of suffering critical illness?
Cancer, heart attack or stroke are the three most common critical illnesses, occurring across all ages in Canada. According to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the National Cancer Institute of Canada (2001), approximately 250,000 Canadians are diagnosed with cancer, heart attack or stroke annually. And thanks to improved medical treatments, most of them will survive -
