How to Apply and Loan Forms


We want to provide you and your clients a smooth and simple loan application experience. To ensure completed loan applications are processed as quickly as possible, please follow the steps below.

For CSV loans, the insurance company may require additional forms. Please contact the insurance company prior, for any additional forms they require to leverage a CSV whole life policy.

  1. Click on Loan Application link, Loan & Security Agreement link, and Disclosure Statement link below.
    1. For 3rd party Mutual Fund loans only: When pledging Mutual Funds as collateral, click on "Pledge Letter" link as well.
    2. For loan transfers from another lender: Click on "Loan Transfer Kit" link as well.
    3. For CSV loans for whole life policies: Include a copy of the policy or detailed printout. Policies with an irrevocable beneficiary do not qualify. For all this loan program's requirements, click here.
  2. Complete the selected forms in full, obtain your clients' signature where required and ensure that your clients' have initialed every page of the loan application where indicated in the bottom right corner.

  3. Submit all required documentation by courier to:
    TD Canada Trust
    Investment Lending Services
    55 King St. W., 28th Flr. TD Tower
    Toronto, ON M5A 1A2

    Some advisors may be required to submit their forms through their head office.

  4. When the completed forms are received, the application will be processed. If further information is required, you will be contacted asap. Credit decisions are normally made within 24 hours.

Loans for 3rd party Mutual Funds can only be arranged through Mutual Fund Dealerships who have an agreement in place authorizing TD Canada Trust – Investment Lending Services to act as its intermediary. If your Dealership does not have such an agreement in place please see the loan programs for our Segregated Fund providers, Franklin Templeton Mutual Funds, AEGON Mutual Funds, Dynamic Funds, Standard Life Mutual Funds and TD Mutual Funds. To confirm that TD Canada Trust is authorized to act as your Dealership's intermediary please contact us.
