  1. How soon will my Green Machine transaction take effect?
  2. Transactions made before 9pm EST on a business day (Monday to Friday) will be posted and effective on that same day. Transactions made after 9pm EST Monday to Friday, and anytime on weekends and statutory holidays, will be posted to your account immediately (i.e., money will be moved into or out of your account) but dated effective on the next business day.

For example, if you transfer funds between your accounts at 8am EST on a Friday, the funds will be transferred and dated on that same Friday. If you make that same transaction at 10pm EST on a Friday, the funds will be transferred on Friday and the transaction will be dated Monday.

If you pay your cable bill at the Green Machine, or through EasyLine or EasyWeb on a Monday before 9pm EST, the funds will be withdrawn from your account on Monday and your payment will be forwarded to the company on Monday night. If you make the same payment on a Friday after 9pm EST, the funds will be withdrawn from your account Friday but will appear in your statement or passbook dated Monday, and your payment will be forwarded to the cable company on Monday night.

  1. Why does the Green Machine display the Cirrus logo but I cannot use the Cirrus ABMs when traveling?
  2. Banks are limited to offering a single network to their customers. As such, the PLUS network which offers access to over 627,000 ABMs worldwide, was chosen for use by

TD Canada Trust customers. The Cirrus access on the Green Machine is to allow customers of other financial institutions to access their accounts while traveling in Canada.
  1. I don’t feel comfortable making cash deposits at the Green Machine. Is my deposit secure?
  2. Yes, it is very secure. All deposits are opened, counted and checked in the presence of two Bank officers.

  1. Are my accounts safe? What if my card is lost or stolen?
  2. Yes, your accounts are safe and secure. Every time you use your

TD Canada Trust Access Card to do your banking or make payments, you must enter your PIN (personal identification number). You must always take necessary measures to keep your PIN and password confidential and your card safe. Avoid such password combinations as birthdays, phone numbers, age, Social Insurance Number, etc. As long as you keep your PIN number confidential and safe, your accounts can’t be accessed by others even if your card is lost or stolen.
