Quick Reference GuideAll you do is... - Tell the cashier you want to make an
INTERAC Direct Payment purchase.
- Pass your TD Canada Trust Access
Card through the INTERAC Direct Payment terminal.
- Watch the cashier enter the transaction
and the amount of your purchase.
- Pick up the hand-held keypad.
- Confirm the purchase amount by pressing
OK.
- Select the Chequing or Savings account you
wish to pay from.
- Enter your Personal Identification Number
(PIN) to authorize payment, being careful that no one can view your
PIN.
Once the keypad indicates that the transaction is approved, the
funds will be immediately transferred from your bank account to the
retailer's account. The cashier will give you a detailed transaction receipt of your
INTERAC Direct payment purchase.
