Invest for your Kid's Education

1. Online:

To open a TD Mutual Funds RESP account, follow the steps outlined below.
(The documents below are available in PDF format and require Acrobat Reader.)

1. Complete the Application Form. (Choose One)

• Family Beneficiary Plan Application
• Individual Beneficiary Plan Application

Be sure to include the Social Insurance Number for the
(a) Subscriber
(b) Joint Subscriber (if applicable)
(c) Beneficiary(ies)


If any of the subscribers or beneficiaries doesn't currently have a Social Insurance Number (SIN), you can find out more about applying at Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) or to apply directly, download the SIN application.

2. Sign the Application.

3. Complete and sign the Canada Education Savings Grant Application to apply for the Canada Education Savings Grant.

4. Mail it back to TD Investment Services Inc. (we require original signatures on all applications):

2. Talk to a Mutual Funds Representative by visiting a TD Canada Trust branch or by calling 1-866-222-3456.
