Order Confirmation
With TD Waterhouse, you receive prompt confirmation so that you always know
your order has been placed in accordance with you instructions.
Immediate Confirmation
TD Waterhouse's advanced order-entry system lets you know instantly that your
order is confirmed as received or confirmed as executed. Your order is
transmitted directly to the appropriate market (or other applicable
source). Equities and options trades will normally reach the exchange
within a few seconds. Most equity and option market orders and bond orders
can be confirmed while you are still on the phone, or online.
Written Confirmation
To help you keep a convenient log of your trades and to enable you to verify
that your instructions have been carried out accurately, TD Waterhouse will send
you a printed trade confirmation immediately following trade execution (i.e. the
next business day for equities, options and bonds). Please review this
confirmation carefully and call us immediately if it does not agree with your
records.
eServices
This online service, called eServices, allows TD Waterhouse clients to
view certain account documents online through TD Waterhouse WebBroker. Clients
are notified by e-mail as soon as their trade confirmation or account statement
is ready for viewing. Trade confirmations are available online the day after the
trade has been processed. Monthly brokerage statements are available the
first or second business day of each month.
Call Backs
If you would like us to call you back with a report of your executed order,
please let us know when you place the order. Call backs will be made on a
"best-effort" basis.
