TD Mutual Funds Education Planner

The TD Mutual Funds Registered Education Savings Plan Advantage

Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG) - This is a special government grant that can be deposited directly into your TD Mutual Funds RESP. The CESG is equal to 20% of the first $2,500 in annual RESP contributions per child. That's up to $500 per child each year to a lifetime limit of $7,200, from the federal government.

No Fee - There are no set-up charges, annual fees or trustee fees to establish a TD Mutual Funds RESP. Also, because TD Mutual Funds and TD Managed Assets Program Portfolios are no-load when purchased online through EasyWeb, by phone through EasyLine or in person at a TD Canada Trust branch, all of your money goes to work for you right away.

Tax-Deferred Growth - While the contributions you make to your plan are not tax-deductible, the investment income generated in your savings plan - income such as interest, dividends or capital gains - is not taxed until the funds are withdrawn from the plan. Because they can grow on a tax-deferred basis, your contributions and CESG savings will enjoy added growth potential.

TD Mutual Funds - We offer a full range of quality mutual funds - from conservative income funds to more aggressive equity funds - so that you can create a diversified RESP portfolio. We'll also provide you with investment support, investment tools and personalized service to choose the funds that can help your savings grow faster.

Easy and Affordable - Our Pre-Authorized Purchase Plan offers you a convenient and affordable way to build your savings. You can start with as little as $25 per fund per month and this amount can be automatically transferred to your account on a weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis.

Account Opening and Access
