Credit Criteria

Our goal is to provide you with prompt approvals for investment loans that are right for your clients. Please note that TD Canada Trust Investment Lending Services loans are for non-registered investments made by individual investors. Corporate investment loans are not available at this time.

Criteria for: 1-for-1 No Margin Call Demand Loans¹, 2-for-1 Margined Demand Loans¹, 3-for-1 No Margin Call Demand Loans¹

• No income verification is required
• No debt service ratios are calculated
• Approval is based on the credit bureau report

Criteria for: 100% No Margin Call Demand Loans¹, 100% Margined Demand Loans¹:

• The loan must not exceed half the client's net worth
• Minimum income requirement is $60,000 individually ($75,000 joint) for residents of Ontario and British Columbia, and $50,000 individually ($65,000 joint) for residents in the rest of Canada
• The maximum debt/service ratio is 35%
