
1. What is the EasyWeb IdentificationPlus feature and why do I need it?
EasyWeb IdentificationPlus protects you while you access EasyWeb Internet banking by having you provide information only you would know, in the form of security questions and answers shared secretly between you and TD Canada Trust. Once your computer is registered with EasyWeb IdentificationPlus, it remembers which computer(s) you normally use, giving you even greater protection against unauthorized individuals logging in to your accounts.
2. How does it work?
When you enroll in EasyWeb IdentificationPlus, you'll select five security questions and answers as part of the registration process. If you log in from a different computer or are completing certain transactions, we take additional steps to verify your identity by asking you to provide the answer to one of your security questions. EasyWeb IdentificationPlus remembers your computer by assigning a unique identifier to that computer when you register. No personal or private data is stored in any way.
3. Can I choose not to enroll?
No, enrollment in EasyWeb IdentificationPlus is mandatory for all EasyWeb customers because it provides enhanced protection for your accounts when you bank online with EasyWeb Internet banking.
4. Can I defer my registration?
Yes, you can defer the registration of your security questions up to three times or for the first 90 days. On the fourth login or after 90 days, you'll no longer be able to defer registration.
5. Can I access my accounts from multiple computers?
Yes. If you are logging in from a new computer other than the one you used to register for EasyWeb IdentificationPlus, or through a public terminal, you simply need to answer one of your security questions.
6. Can two people log in from the same computer?
Yes. The EasyWeb IdentificationPlus information that you register provides us with a unique identifier that distinguishes you from other users accessing their online accounts from the same computer.
7. Can I change my security questions?
You can change your security questions and answers at any time. Use the "Maintain Security Options" screen within EasyWeb, found under "View Accounts". Select the questions you would like to update and then select the "Update Selected Questions" button. If you'd like to update all of your security questions, select the "Update All Questions" button.
8. What if I forget the answers to my EasyWeb IdentificationPlus questions?

9. What happens if I'm locked out of EasyWeb?
You will be given several opportunities to respond correctly before being locked out of EasyWeb. If you do get locked out, please contact EasyLine telephone banking at 1-866-222-3456 or visit any TD Canada Trust branch for assistance. Your EasyWeb password will be re-set, and you'll have to select five new security questions and answers the next time you log in.
10. Are the answers to my security questions case sensitive?
No. The EasyWeb IdentificationPlus feature will recognize your answers whether you enter them in upper case or lower case letters.
