How do I modify my name and/or email address used for the Interac Email Money Transfer service?
I have a pending Interac Email Money Transfer. When I update my information, will it affect the transfer?
How do I modify my name and/or email address used for the Interac Email Money Transfer service?
To modify your name and/or email address, select My Accounts > Payments & Transfers in the top menu bar and then click Send Money in the left sub-menu bar. To the right of your name and email address, click the 'Update' link.
To modify your name and/or email address, follow these three steps:
| Step 1 of 3: | Change your name and/or email address. |
| Step 2 of 3: | Review and confirm the information you have entered. |
| Step 3 of 3: | The modifications to your name and/or email address are complete. |
I have a pending Interac Email Money Transfer. When I update my information, will it affect the transfer?
It will not affect the actual transaction - the transfer will continue as normal. However, any email notifications generated for this Interac Email Money Transfer will now display the updated information.
