Pending Statuses

Description

Processing Interac e-Transfer

The money has been withdrawn from the sender's account and the email notification to the recipient is being processed.

Interac e-Transfer Delayed

The email notification to the recipient is delayed and will be processed shortly.

Interac e-Transfer Sent

The email notification to the recipient has been sent and the money is available to deposit.

Invalid Email Address

The recipient's email address was invalid or the email notification was not delivered for other reasons. The sender will receive an email notification with instructions to reclaim the money. The sender can then send another Interac e-Transfer to the recipient.

Recipient Unable To Answer Security Question

The recipient was unable to correctly answer the Security Question. The sender will receive an email notification with instructions to reclaim the money. The sender can then send another Interac e-Transfer to the recipient.

Recipient Answered Security Question

The recipient has correctly answered the Security Question, but has not yet deposited the money to his/her account.

Recipient Declined Deposit

The recipient has declined the Interac e-Transfer. The sender will receive an email notification with instructions to reclaim the money.

Expired

The recipient did not collect the money before the expiry date. The sender will receive an email notification with instructions to reclaim the money. The sender can then send another Interac e-Transfer to the recipient.

Processing Deposit

The recipient requested to deposit the money using an electronic transfer. This process is facilitated by Interac e-transfer, and will take 3 - 5 business days to complete.

Re-processing Deposit

The recipient requested to deposit the money using an electronic transfer, and has now updated the deposit instructions. This process is facilitated by Interac e-transfer, and will take 3 - 5 business days to complete.

Deposit Failed

The recipient requested to deposit the money using an electronic transfer, a process that is facilitated by Interac e-transfer. Unfortunately the deposit to the account could not be completed, and a cheque has now been mailed to the recipient.

Complete Statuses

Description

Recipient Deposited Transfer

The recipient has successfully collected the Interac e-Transfer online. The recipient correctly answered the Security Question and has deposited the money to his/her account.

Cancelled

The sender has cancelled the Interac e-Transfer and the money has been deposited back into his/her account. The recipient will receive an email explaining the transfer has been cancelled and the money is no longer available for deposit.

Complete

The recipient requested to deposit the money offline using an electronic transfer (facilitated by Interac e-transfer) and the deposit is being processed. It will take 3 - 5 business days to complete the deposit.
