What are TD eFunds and ePortfolios?

TD eFunds and ePortfolios are e-Series units of existing TD Mutual Funds and TD Managed Assets Program Portfolios, respectively. They are a separate series of the same Fund or Portfolio as the current Investor Series units. TD eFunds units have a lower Management Expense Ratio than their TD Mutual Fund Investor Series counterparts.

These e-Series units are designed with the online investor in mind. Presently, there are eleven TD eFunds.

TD Canadian Index Fund e-Series
TD U.S. Index Fund e-Series (available in both Canadian $, and U.S.$)
TD Dow Jones Industrial Average^SM Index Fund e-Series (available in both Canadian $, and U.S.$)
TD Canadian Government Bond Index Fund e-Series
TD U.S. RSP Index Fund e-Series
TD International RSP Index Fund e-Series
TD European Index Fund e-Series
TD Japanese Index Fund e-Series
TD NASDAQ RSP Index Fund e-Series
TD Canadian Bond Index Fund e-Series
TD International Index Fund e-Series

e-Series units are also available on the index-based TD Managed Assets Program (MAP) Portfolios, known as ePortfolios.

TD eFunds share the same underlying pool of assets as the Investor Series units of TD Mutual Funds currently sold at TD Investment Services Inc. The lower MER is realized when you open a TD eFunds account and agree to the TD eFunds Understanding & Consent Form, which requires that you deal with your account electronically.
