To change your Record-Keeping options, follow the steps below:
- Select My Accounts > Special Requests from the top navigation menu
- Select ‘Change Record Keeping Options’ from the left navigation bar
- Select the account for which you wish to change record keeping option.
- Choose the record keeping option you wish to change to. - Paperless, Passbook or Statement.
- Verify if your e-mail address is correct.
- If you would like to permanently change your e-mail address please select 'Change of Address' from the left navigation bar (only available for personal accounts).
- Verify your correct daytime phone number and evening phone number (optional)
- For details on why your e-mail address is important click ‘Important information about your e-mail address’
- Click on the Next button to process this transfer. Click the Back button to cancel this transaction
- Verify the details and click the 'Finish' button at the bottom right of the page
- Record or print the confirmation number.
- For each additional account, simply repeat steps 2-11
- This request is manually verified and subject to verification and acceptance by TD Canada Trust.
- Please allow at least 24 hours before your request is completed.
- You will receive a non-confidential e-mail from customer.service@td.com
- We may attempt to phone you for clarification
Important Information about Paperless Record Keeping
- If you currently have statement record keeping, you may receive one more monthly statement before your Paperless Record Keeping takes effect.
- If you currently have the statement with cheque return option, you will no longer receive a statement or have your cheques returned if you choose the Paperless Record Keeping Option.
- Paperless Record Keeping is not an electronic statement. You will continue to be able to monitor your account activity through EasyWeb.
