My Accounts - View Accounts

Loan Details

From the 'My Accounts - View Accounts' screen or 'My Accounts - Investing' screens, simply click on the TD Canada Trust Loan hyperlink to view the details of your loan.

Loan Details

Original Loan Amount
The original amount of the money borrowed.

Issue Date
The original date that your loan was issued. If your loan has been renewed, the 'Issue Date' represents the renewal date for your loan.

Term of Loan
The term is the period of time that you have committed to pay your loan at a set rate of interest. This is different than the amortization of your loan, which is the time period you have committed to repay your loan in full.

Interest Rate
The current rate of interest you are paying on your loan.

Renewal Date
The date that the 'Interest Rate' for your loan is renewed. If there is no renewal date for your interest rate this will not be displayed.

Current Payment Details

Current Balance
The 'Current Balance' is the total principal balance remaining on your loan. This balance does not include accrued interest since your last payment.

Balance Effective Date
The date of your last payment.

Regular Payment Amount
The amount you pay on your loan on a regular basis.


Last Payment Amount
If you have a Demand Loan - the 'Last Payment Amount' will display if your Principal & Interest Payment Dates are the same day.

This indicates how often you make regular payments on your loan.

Next Payment Date
The next day that a regular payment is due on your loan.

  • Please note details are not provided for the following Loans: Irregular Payment Frequencies, Class A Student Loans and Indirect Loans.

    To view details or activity for another TD Canada Trust account, select the account from the drop-down menu and click 'OK'. To view details or activity for your TD Waterhouse accounts, click the account number from the View Accounts or Investing screens. For more information regarding your accounts please refer to the help pages on the applicable screens.
