Cancel A Postdated Payment

Postdated payments can be cancelled up until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on the business day before the payment will be processed. After 11:59 p.m. EST, you will not be able to cancel this payment in EasyWeb. Please contact TD Canada Trust at 1-866-222-3456 and a banking specialist will be happy to help you.

How do I cancel a Postdated/Recurring payment?

Follow these steps:

  1. Click the My Accounts > Payments & Transfers button from the top navigation menu.
  2. Click the View/Cancel Pending Payments button from the left sub-menu.
  3. Click the Cancel button beside the postdated payment you wish to cancel.
  4. The Cancel Payment page will appear. You will be prompted to click Finish to confirm your request, or Back to reject your request.
  5. If you select Finish, a page will be displayed indicating that your request to cancel a post-dated payment was successful. You will be provided a six (6) digit Confirmation Number for your records. If you select Back, you will be returned to the previous page.

* When canceling recurring payments, all future payments will be cancelled.
