How to Setup a Personal Payee

A Personal Payee can be anyone who has a TD Canada Trust bank account. An example of when you may wish to use this service is when a parent wants to send money to their child at College or University. 

To setup a Personal Payee:

• Gather the following Payee Information:
  1. The full name of the person you want to send the money to
  2. The Payee’s current address, including postal code on file with the TD Canada Trust
  3. Branch number (3 or 4 digits)
  4. Account number
  5. Alias you want to use as a label for the Payee.  This must be 1-5 alphanumeric characters with the first character being alphabetic. Example: "Mom" or "Son2".

• Call EasyLine at 1-866-222-3456 and enter your 13-digit Access Card number and your PhoneCode.

• Select option '5', then '1', '1', then '1'. You will be connected to an EasyWeb specialist who will register your Personal Payee.

To Modify the account number for an existing Personal Payee, contact EasyLine at 1-866-222-3456.

To Delete a Personal Payee, select the Payments & webdoxs tab from the main navigation menu,
select Modify Payees, then click the Delete button.
