Using Direct Payment to pay for your purchases is as simple as 1, 2, 3.
- Check to see if the store has the Interac Direct Payment symbol, then present your TD Canada Trust Access Card for payment.
- The cashier will pass your card through the store's electronic scanner and enter the amount of your purchase.
- You confirm that the total is correct, then enter your personal identification number for your TD Canada Trust Access Card, using a small keypad you'll be given by the cashier.
That's it - your purchase is complete! The amount of your purchase has been automatically transferred from your account to the retailer's account.
